Utrecht heeft een lange geschiedenis van diversiteit, sociaal-democratisch bestuur, sterke sociale initiatieven en maatschappelijk verantwoord ondernemen. In de afgelopen jaren is er in de stad een informeel netwerk van organisaties gegroeid dat, met Mensenrechten als gemeenschappelijk uitgangspunt, werkt aan gelijkheid en vooruitgang, voor iedereen in de stad. We noemen onszelf de Utrechtse Mensenrechtencoalitie. We verbinden de activiteiten en ambities van de verschillende organisaties, om de inclusieve samenleving te versterken. Utrecht has a long history of diversity, social-democratic governance, strong social initiatives and corporate social responsibility. In recent years there has grown an informal network of organizations in the city which, with human rights as a common basis, working on equality and progress for everyone in town. We call ourselves the Utrecht Rights Coalition. We connect the activities and ambitions of the various organizations, to strengthen the inclusive society.
