Hoefsloot specializes in the creation of modeling environments that can be used by clients in governments, private companies and international organizations. The main application areas are crop forecasting, eco-hydrological modeling, meteorology, environmental databases and remote sensing. We have the expertise to take your projects from A to Z, from the initial plans to user training on the spot and support. Besides being software developers we do audits and tests of third party applications. Our company is strong in international, trans-boundary projects with a main focus on Europe and Africa. Our customers include Dutch Ministries and research institutes (agriculture, water), United Nations organizations such as FAO and WFP, the World Bank and the European Union. At the moment Hoefsloot creates a financial Risk Management System for the World Food Program in Rome and New York, which aims at minimizing financial risks by offering timely insight into natural disasters in Africa.
