This boutique hotel overlooking the river Vecht in Nieuwersluis near Breukelen offers a unique hideaway with a modern understated decor. Located in between Amsterdam and Utrecht, Flora Batava is an independent hotel in a historic estate.

From its 45 hotelrooms to its restaurant and meeting rooms, the hotel is inspired by the botanical history of this site. The founder Agnes Block once had botanical gardens and was the first to cultivate a pineapple on dutch soil. Flora Batava will offer leisure and business guests a memorable stay in the heart of the Vechtstreek, where historical charm meets contemporary elegance.

At Flora Batava we offer a complete dining experience for our hotelguests as well as locals in our restaurant called ‘Bloei’. All are welcome to come and enjoy the cuisine prepared with ingredients from the Vechtstreek. Restaurant Bloei also has an inviting terrace on the state and a riverside café (Theehuis) with breathtaking views.
