About Historische Vereniging voor Goeree-Overflakkee "De Motte"
De Motte houdt zich sinds 1969 bezig met de geschiedenis van Goeree-Overflakkee. Dit doen zij met behulp van de archeologie en archiefonderzoek. Resultaten van deze inspanningen zijn te vinden in de vele publicaties van De Motte. Een deel van de opgegraven voorwerpen is bovendien te zien in de musea op Goeree-Overflakkee. Verenigingsorgaan ‘De Ouwe Waerelt’, verschijnt driemaal per jaar.
