About Health Innovation Ventures

HIV is an investment holding company whose mission is to commercialize life science technologies and intellectual property from various knowledge institutions world-wide.

HIV was established in February 2014 by a group of business angels to undertake cutting edge research in molecular biology, imaging and Decision Support Systems in the broad field of life sciences. In addition, HIV/BHV has training programs for graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, as well as students from the universities and junior colleges partially funded by European grants.

By partnering with technology developers globally as well as leveraging on the scientific capabilities in Europe, HIV aims to identify suitable technology areas and build on top of existing efforts to seed new spin-off companies around key technology platforms.
