Hawk Marine Inspection and Consultancy is established with the purpose to provide dynamic, personal and effective services to the maritime industry within our fields of expertise. Hawk Marine Inspection and Consultancy is based in The Netherlands, within a short driving distance to some of the busiest ports in Europe such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Antwerp (ARA area) including few ports in Germany and France. The company also provides services to cover all major European ports in consultation. Founder member Capt. Nitin Grover is a highly skilled and result oriented Maritime Professional with over 23 years of active Maritime experience involving Oil & Chemical Tanker operations involving complex trade of parcel chemical tankers. Following his sea career he ventured on the shore side in 2017 where he was involved in Maritime Assurance activities dealing with Oil Majors, Flag states and was responsible for an effective implementation and continuous improvement as per TMSA standards. During this period he was also actively involved in: • Incident Investigations • ISM/ISPS/MLC/Cargo/Mooring Audits • Real time Navigation Audits & Assessment • VDR analysis • Preparing vessels for OCIMF, CDI, USCG and other PSC inspections • Providing expertise on complex oil & chemical tanker operations including stowage planning, tank cleaning & passivation. • Supervising the handling/carriage of cargoes such as MDI/TDI, Phenol, HMD, Acrylonitrile, etc. • Providing dynamic training both on board as well as ashore on wide range of subjects including LET, LFI, SHELL resilience training and Reflective Learning programs. • Development of company’s ISM elements and training programs • Preparing & participation in TMSA audits by Oil Majors • Comprehensive Remote Navigation Audits • ISM SMS Development, Simplification & Gap Analysis Capt. Nitin Grover is also an accredited Flag State Inspector carrying out Pre-registration, Initial, Annual and special inspections of all types of vessels.
