About Halt stichting

De medewerkers van Halt werken aan bewustwording en gedragsbeïnvloeding van jongeren en ondersteuning van hun ouders. In 2023 voerden ruim 10.000 jongeren (12 tot 18 jaar) een Halt-interventie uit. Daarnaast is Halt actief in de domeinen Wijk, Sport en School. Halt heeft een landelijk dekkend netwerk met 10 regionale teams en een landelijk kantoor in Utrecht.

Halt is a Dutch organisation with a national network of offices which aims to prevent and combat juvenile crime. The crime prevention activities of Halt consist of advisory services, educational programmes and the development and implementation of crime prevention projects. The activities are carried out at local and regional levels. Halt is also responsible for the enforcement of alternative punishment given to young people up to the age of 18.
