About Haiku Association in the Netherlands
Haiku Association in the Netherlands is promoting short Japanese poetry like haiku and tanka. We have more than 200 members and 12 local haiku groups. Together with the Flemish Haiku Association we publish a quarterly magazine named 'Vuursteen', which means flintstone. In autumn 2017 we organize for the first time the World Children's Haiku Contest in the Netherlands.
