About Groningen Confucius Institute

The GCI is a partnership between the Hanze University Groningen, the University of Groningen and the city of Groningen with the Communication University of China. The GCI is part of a wide network of Confucius Institutes all over the world and is being supported by the Chinese government. Our goal is to strengthen the mutual ties between China and the Netherlands. By combining our strengths and knowledge in the GCI, we would like to be an institute that offers services in the areas of language, culture and business.
