GORTER´S Houthandel B.V. - werd in 1935 opgericht door Wouter Gorter en was gevestigd in pakhuis "Dissel" aan de Zaanweg 13 in Wormerveer. In 1998 verhuisde ze naar de Industrieweg 9a in Wormerveer.
GORTER'S Houthandel B.V. was in 2010 nog één van de weinige zelfstandige houthandels in Noord-Holland.
Naar 75 jaar grotendeels zelfstandig te zijn geweest, is GORTER'S Houthandel B.V. per april 2010 overgenomen door de Carpentier-Mooren Groep uit Aalsmeer.
