GlycoCheck is a leading provider of imaging solutions based on an innovative measurement system of the Glycocalyx layer. GlycoCheck solutions facilitate the accurate, reliable and non-invasive selection, detection & monitoring of patients in intensive care, cardiology and internal medicine. GlycoCheck uses innovative technology to assess the quality of the vasculature (the glycocalyx is the inner layer of the blood vessels and the vasculature's first line of defense). The technique uses a camera device that very rapidly and non-invasively monitors the capilairies under the tongue and software that monitors even very small changes in the vessel wall automatically. This very reliable method is used in the monitoring of cardiovascular diseases, prior to the occurence of symptoms. Moreover, this method has it's use as an indicator for future treatment of these patient groups.
