GlobeSentinel is an online platform from which events in the world are exposed, explored and connected.

We live in times where many of us get their daily news intake from social media. Especially, when it comes to insight on global affairs.

As the topic of global affairs is very complicated already, the modern day news landscape does not help much. Modern day news is overwhelming in content, content that often includes bias and other forms of disinformation. As a result, it becomes much harder for people to be up to date with global trends and issues.

Keeping up with the news is one thing. However, you are never really fully equipped to understand political issues and have debates with people, until you have developed a more complete understanding of how the world works and how these issues work on the most fundamental level.

Therefore, GlobeSentinel focuses both on the global and the local, integrating the two to construct a vivid image of what is going on in the world. It wants to allow people, wherever they come from, to take a step back from the hectic world of news and see for themselves what is going on in the world.
