May 2009 On the 11th May 2009 Global Rehabilitation has started her first South African project in the Township Kayelitsha in cooperation with the youth organization LYDA (chairman Mthobeli January) and the cleaning company SUPERCARE ( HR-director Dave Reynolds). Global Rehabilitation is established in June 2008 as a specialized part of FlexPay and has started with the next staffmembers: Rob van Maanen - CEO Henk Guise - CFO Marike Aaris - Operational manager (Johannesburg, Cape Town) Karin Zijlstra - Case Manager LYDA Youth Organization - 2 Coaches Global Rehabilitation has conducted an extensive research in South Africa into the functioning of the labour market and extensive discussions with policy makers, Chamber of commerce, Sassa, employers and local organisations at the regional level. A model for effectively addressing the existing challenges was developed. A model that will address the structural problems at both the supply and demand side of the labour market in an integrated approach.
