Global Game Jam Groningen (GGJG) is the premier 48-hour game development event in the Netherlands, where creativity, collaboration, and innovation come together. As part of the global network of Global Game Jam events, GGJG provides a dynamic platform for developers, artists, musicians, and game enthusiasts to team up and turn their game ideas into reality.

Since 2015, GGJG has been fostering a vibrant community of game creators, hosting students, professionals, and industry newcomers who share a passion for game design and development. Held annually at Hanze University’s facilities, our event is known for its supportive and energizing atmosphere, complete with presentations, social activities, and a professional jury showcase.
