About GeoBaan

GeoBaan connects students, teachers & alumni of the department 'Human Geography and Planning' (Utrecht University) and strengthens relationships with practitioners, organizations and companies working in the field of geography and planning. We offer insights into students' research (eg. Marc de Smidt thesis award), internships and vacancies for starting Geo professionals and Master students. Also, we offer news about fieldwork, networking events, students' internship experiences, and useful links to Geography sites.

GeoBaan is ontstaan uit een samenwerking tussen DIMENSUS beleidsonderzoek en Stichting Toegepast Geografisch Onderzoek. Ons doel is om (jonge) academici te helpen op de arbeidsmarkt. Daarnaast willen wij een breder publiek bekend maken met de kennis, vaardigheden en de praktische inzetbaarheid van sociaal geografen en planologen.
