About Gender(ed Economics
Gendered Economics aims to approach gender equality advocacy differently by shifting the narrative from a human-rights approach to an economic one.
We advocate that gender inequality is an economic problem that affects all and bring the focus on the cost of inequality along with the potential benefit of equality to the society.
Under this lens, gender equality is no longer just an objective that is good to have because it is just and right thing, but it is also a better allocation of our resources and more efficient use of the (potential) human capital we have.
We strive to create change by better understanding of economic theory, designing evidence-based programs and inspiring people to take action.
