Geared HCVT is the next generation Hydrostatic Continuously Variable Transmission, a CVT gearbox patent licenced by HCVTransmission B.V. The technology is based on the uses of a variable displacement pump and a variable hydraulic motor. This results in a CVT with a limited number of components and a very large transmission ratio. A transmission technology suitable for a broad application area.
