About Gallery Lemaire/TAF Amsterdam
Gallery Lemaire has been involved in the trade of tribal art from Oceania, Africa, Indonesia and New Guinea since 1925. Gallery Lemaire was the first gallery in Amsterdam to deal in ethnographic art, and has sold to many museums and private collectors. We have a large collection of objects such as statues, masks, jewellery, textiles and utensils. If you are interested in specific objects you can contact us so we can send you pictures of the objects you are looking for. The Gallery has an elaborate library in which more detailed information on an object can always be found.
TAF Amsterdam The fair for art and artefacts from Africa, Asia and Oceania For the 21st edition of the Tribal Art Fair (TAF) from 26 to 29 October, 20 ethnographic dealers from 9 countries will gather at De Duif in Amsterdam. The TAF is internationally renowned among collectors and art lovers for the quality and variety of objects. The fair attracts visitors from all over the world.
