About G.S.S.V. Donar 1881

G.S.S.V. Donar 1881 is the Student Fencing Club of Groningen. We are part of the overarching University Sports Organisation ACLO and are open for students of both the Hanze University of Applied Sciences and the University of Groningen. Donar's long history has started in 1881 as part of Vindicat atque Polit and has since been very eventful: name changes, independence from Vindicat, two national fencing champions and a major fencing tournament (which unfortunately hasn't taken place recently). Donar nowadays is a great club for students of all backgrounds to either start or continue fencing during their student life.
