This platform is the place to meet each other when you are interested in innovative and sustainable projects. Here we would like to explain to you what it is we want to achieve with this community.

Goal This community has been started by the municipality but is owned by the core team and its ambassadors. Our goal is to prepare The Hague for the future and make it more attractive for living and recreating. We want to encourage innovation by bringing together participants with common goal.

What is a community? A community is a group of people who share the same interest, norms and values on a structural base and connect with each other on- and offline to share knowledge and experience, work together and get to know each other.

Why Futureproof The Hague? Because we want to provide a platform for the people who are connected in the The Hague, to bring together ideas about innovative and sustainable developments.

To make the projects work, we work closely with external partners such as network organisations, resident groups, knowledge centres and other interesting organisations. The municipality is an equivalent partner and has the role as a connector and encourager. The municipality is not the only partner as the platform is yours and is carried by a core team and ambassadors.

The added value of this platform is that several parties are connected, which gives the projects a greater chance of success.
