About Fundación Persea

The most important product created by Persea Foundation is Revista Persea, where researchers and professors have the freedom to tell their stories, communicate their investigations to the general public, explain its social impact, their successes and failures and their struggle for founding and recognition. We have published more than a hundred articles, written by several invited authors from Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, México and Venezuela. Our contributors are experts from a wide range of disciplines including physics, astronomy, biology, ecology, biotechnology, philosophy, history and engineering, as well as artists working with technology and science journalists.

With the aim of upscaling our opportunities of engagement and diversifying our product offering, we are also producing a podcast, and printed material. In our podcast we have interviewed outstanding Latin American scientists from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, México, Uruguay and Venezuela. We have created two educational calendars: Latin American Science Heroes (2018) and Latin American Scientific Milestones (2019).
