About Foodate

Foodate was born from five young entrepreneurs, and a simple question: have you ever had to throw away food that you had forgotten to have in your kitchen? We know the answer, which is yes, and you are not alone. This leads to a main issue: food waste. It may be seen as a small, limited problem, but usually, a small problem shared by many becomes a big "little" problem. The founders come from 4 different countries, bringing with them their own experience. The diverse backgrounds allowed us to converge on a unique and innovative project. “Foodate’s mission is to promote and inspire people to take action against the wasting of food. We know that we need to turn our thoughts into practice to move forward as a society. With this in mind, we have set a new aim - to raise awareness against the global waste issue in whatever way we can”.
