About Europol Alumni Consulting Network EACN

We are a group of ex-Europol officers who have come together to pool our resources and talents in order to better collectively serve the clients that we each currently work with on an individual basis. Our network members have capability in all of the crime areas that fall within Europe’s mandate, with specific projects to date including: - Drug trafficking - People smuggling - Terrorism - Trafficking in persons - War crimes - Financial crimes and money-laundering - Cybercrime

In addition, we understand and promote the procedures and processes that facilitate Europol’s work within the wider EU-law enforcement community, including: - International law-enforcement cooperation - Intelligence-led policing - Intelligence analysis, including threat- and risk-assessment - Information management and data protection

Our services are available to assist at all stages of the project life-cycle; - Initiation: the planning and preparation for action, including needs-assessments and performance indicators - Implementation: putting plans into action, including on-the-spot mentoring and hands-on assistance - Evaluation: the post-op measurement of success and efficiency, including highlighting of lessons-learned

It will be seen from the above that we have the capability of operate at the strategic, operational and tactical level. Furthermore, it is worth remembering that Europol is recognised as a state-of-the-art centre of excellence, and therefore the services offered by EACN will assist clients in aspiring to this high standard.

N.B. - It should be clear that EACN does not participate in, nor have access to, Europol’s ongoing operations or data. - All EACN members possess full security clearance from their home Member State.
