About Eurocat Northern Netherlands
Eurocat NL is een onderzoeksgroep van de afdeling Genetica in het UMCG. Sinds 1981 tellen we hoeveel en welke aandoeningen er in Noord-Nederland zijn en of dat aantal stijgt of daalt. Verder onderzoeken we mogelijke risicofactoren, zoals medicijngebruik. Dat is belangrijk omdat niet van alle (nieuwe) geneesmiddelen bekend is wat de gevolgen kunnen zijn. Eurocat is deel van een Europees en wereldwijd netwerk.
