About EU-ACME/CNE

The EU-ACME Programme is committed to elevating urology education and lifelong learning across Europe. Established in 2004 through a collaboration between the European Association of Urology (EAU) and the European Board of Urology (EBU), the programme was created to promote high-quality Continuing Medical Education (CME) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) for urologists. Today, the EU-ACME Programme supports more than 17,000 participants, a number that continues to grow as national and international organisations increasingly recognise the value of structured, accredited education. The rising volume of accreditation requests reflects the programme’s expanding influence and its essential role in supporting medical professionals throughout their careers. In 2021, EU-ACME broadened its mission by partnering with the European Association of Urology Nurses (EAUN), extending its accreditation services to urology nurses through Continuing Nursing Education (CNE). At its core, the EU-ACME Programme empowers healthcare professionals to maintain and enhance their expertise, enrich their professional development, and deliver the highest quality of patient care. By staying aligned with the latest scientific developments and continually advancing their skills, participants contribute to improving standards in urology across Europe.
