Endegeest Consulting is a company run by its owner Remco Steger.

I bring 18 years of experience in origination and structuring of financing solutions. I have a strong track record in shipping finance. More recently I gained experience in the renewable energy space.

Since starting as an independent consultant I have been acting on the side of borrowers and lenders. This allows me to approach challenges from different perspectives.

I have managed teams in various settings, including teams which were being made redundant. My understanding of risk is good, and I bring firm analytical skills.

For borrowers I have: # structured and negotiated project financing (senior, junior, mezzanine) in various lines of industries, amongst others in Renewable Energy, Offshore, Shipping and Logistics. # arranged a sale&lease-back. # assisted start-ups and scale-ups in turning their strategy into financial strategy, and turning both in a bankable proposition. # represented borrowers in their discussions with its lenders, also at times when relationships were strained. # analyzed markets, transformed ideas into propositions and have developed business plans. # advised on the management of joint ventures and I have negotiated the dissolvement of a JV. # acted as an industry expert with strategic consultants.

In working with capital providers, I have: # advised on strategic options for loan portfolios, and the implementation of the selected solution. # performed loan portfolio due diligence services. # brokered the sale of a loan portfolio. # outsourced portfolio management and loan administration to a service provider, compliant with the EBA Guidelines on Outsourcing Arrangements. This process included a self-assessment on the outsourcing that was delivered to the regulator.
