About ELLIS unit Nijmegen

The European Laboratory for Learning & Intelligent Systems (ELLIS) Unit in Nijmegen is a branch of the ELLIS Society, a diverse European network that promotes research excellence and advances breakthroughs in AI.

ELLIS Nijmegen brings together top talent from stakeholders to provide opportunities for students, faculty, researchers, and industry, conduct fundamental basic research, and develop infrastructure for excellence in AI. We are situated at Radboud University Nijmegen in the east part of the Netherlands.

At the Nijmegen ELLIS unit we share over 30 years of experience in fundamental machine learning research and teaching. Together we form one of the leading machine learning hubs of the Netherlands and throughout Europe. .
