About EESTEC Soft Skills Academy

EESTEC Soft Skills Academy (SSA) is an international project organized by Electrical Engineering STudents’ European assoCiation (EESTEC). Soft Skills Academy is a project that strives for the development of students in the form of interpersonal skills that are necessary for employment and a successful career, but also for the challenges of modern life that the traditional way of studying cannot provide.

The project is formed to be divided in two parts: the international and the local part. The local part consists of EESTEC Commitments organizing events named SSA in different European cities. The international part is a team responsible for making sure the events are following standards and to facilitate collaboration and communication between local events.

Every local event provides trainings in certain topics of soft skills. These trainings are held by certified EESTEC trainers, HR representatives of companies and other experts in the field of soft skills. At the end of the workshop, all participants receive a certificate and CV supplement. In addition, they will have the opportunity to acquire new skills, but also to improve existing ones, i.e. to actively work on their self-confidence and self-awareness.
