About Economic Board Fryslân

Economic Board Fryslân (EBF) is an independent platform where entrepreneurs, educational institutions and government work together to promote a strong Frisian economy and broad prosperity: a region where it is good to do business, work and live. EBF brings together the voice of the Frisian business community and connects it with the policies and plans of government bodies and knowledge institutions. Together, we bring important economic issues to the right tables – in Fryslân, The Hague and Brussels – and turn ideas into concrete actions and projects.

EBF consists of an Advisory Board with 30 members from the business community, education, and government. EBF implements the course set by the Advisory Board with development and implementation programmes. In addition to development and implementation, EBF plays an essential connecting role in the triple helix of entrepreneurs, education, and government.
