Daarom focussen we ons nog sterker op het strafrecht. We willen voorkomen dat mensen en bedrijven ongestraft schade kunnen aanrichten aan onze planeet. Strafrecht kan – als aanvulling op andere juridische wegen – ervoor zorgen dat ecocide en andere milieumisdrijven niet langer zonder gevolgen blijven.

EN Our new vision calls for a shift from exploitation to sustainable coexistence through legal accountability for severe environmental harm. To do this, we are committed to strengthening every aspect of protection of the environment through criminal law. We will actively seek to prevent harm to our planet by utilising a broad range of legal instruments, looking first and foremost at the power of criminal law. This approach is crucial for ending impunity, complementing other litigation strategies by treating severe environmental harm as a serious crime with consequential penalties.

Our flagship campaign, "Generation EcoJustice", is not just about a future vision; it is our powerful call to action, building a legal legacy for a healthier planet and future generations by igniting a collective drive for justice.
