Dutch Quinoa Group is initiator and chain director of the first Dutch Quinoa supply chain, making high quality, sustainable and locally produced quinoa (products) accessible to European consumers. The people of Dutch Quinoa Group have a great passion for healthy & local food and sustainable & fair agriculture. Convinced about the value of quinoa for consumers ánd farmers, one of the founders of Dutch Quinoa Group started research on quinoa in 2001, followed up in 2011. Dutch Quinoa Group collaborates with Wageningen University, selecting and developing high quality varieties, and leading European quinoa producers, supporting quinoa production and -market development in Europe. Contributing to more and better diversity in agriculture, soil use and diet, local and worldwide.
