About Dutch Association for Regional Anesthesia

The aim of the DARA, the "Dutch Association for Regional Anesthesia", is to stimulate training and scientific activities in the field of Regional Anesthesia in the Netherlands.

The DARA organizes many workshops, hands-on sessions and symposia to improve the knowledge, quality and safety of the Regional Anesthesia techniques. Through contacts with similar organizations in the rest of the world, the DARA also wants to bring other and newer techniques in the field of Regional Anesthesia to the attention of Dutch Anesthesiologists.

The DARA is also the representative body of the Dutch ESRA members. The Netherlands is represented by Markus Stevens at the ESRA.
