Ducrass stands for “Dutch Crane Automated (Self-) Storage System”. The product was developed in the mid 90's and has since been evaluated to a fully automated crane system based upon the latest technologies with many features. Ducrass was founded in 2022 with the aim of marketing and selling these automated overhead cranes internationally in the Self-Storage and the relocation market. The founders of Ducrass are Danny Hollestelle, Tymon Fietje and Dick Varel. They have been involved in the development and further evaluation of these systems from the very beginning. Hollestelle Crane Technology is responsible for the design, manufacture, commissioning and after-sales of these systems. Hollestelle Crane Technology, part of the Hollestelle Group, specializes in the construction of cranes up to 100 tons. From standard cranes to fully automatic cranes, from a simple equator to a complicated lifting beam for nuclear fuel containers. Hollestelle Crane Technology is your partner for design, manufacture, installation, commissioning and maintenance in the field of these unique automatic container overhead cranes for the Self-Storage, Relocation and logistics sector. Hollestelle Crane Technology is a member of the EKH (Approved Inspection Companies for Hoisting and Lifting Equipment). For the electric drive- and control technology, the expertise of Elma BV is called upon. Elma BV has been involved in the development of the automated overhead container stacking cranes supplied by Hollestelle Crane Technology from the beginning. Elma BV is an innovative internationally operating organization and designs the drive- and control technology based on the mechanical data provided by Hollestelle Crane Technology. The CIS and WCS (Self-Storage) are designed by TF Consultancy in co-operation and in accordance with the requirements of the customer.
