We are in the midst of an energy transition that is turning our society upside down. The “Energy Internet” is coming: a smart, responsive, decentralized network of energy and information, based on multi-directional flows of energy data and renewable energy, (de-)aggregated smart devices and smart storage solutions, facilitated by access to enriched and forecasted energy data. This enables new distribution models, activated by energy (data) from a wide variety of market parties, (clusters of) smart devices, cost efficient energy storage, cloud-based data analytics, and a marketplace for all relevant stakeholders.

To address this, DENGY, a new type of Energy Data Service Provider, is building an integrated, scalable and secure middleware platform solution, specifically designed to meet diverse user and market needs, that seamlessly integrate into existing and upcoming automated smart grid technologies (multi-energy networks) and data analytics capabilities. Data has become a crucial asset for operational as well as strategic management; a strategic asset for the organization.
