About Dematerialized
Founded in 2024 in Den Bosch (the Netherlands) out of the frustration of having a closet full of clothes and nothing to wear—and tired of resorting to fast fashion to keep up with trends without breaking the bank—Dematerialized offers a much-needed alternative to looking good and feeling good. Every week, we add new items to our rapidly growing collection of curated pieces and member donations. In other words, we’re constantly refreshing our closet so you can refresh yours.
Join the movement today to experience fashion without the commitment, all while keeping your closet (and your conscience) clean. Rent up to 10 items per month from our collection, and earn swap credits by “donating” pieces from your own closet that you no longer wear. We accept (almost) everything, so if your drawers are overflowing with fast-fashion pieces, we’ll take them off your hands! Swap credits are based solely on condition; we don’t discriminate against brands. And if you decide you want to keep an item that you’ve rented but don’t have any swap credits, you’ll always have the option to buy at an ultra-low price—because we’re seriously committed to making secondhand more affordable than fast fashion.
It’s time to shop differently. It’s time to shop Dematerialized.
