About De Open Poort

The Soto region is lagging behind: homes are in poor condition, crime is lurking, many children stop schooling, there is a high percentage of teenage mothers, addiction seems normal and many families have no income. Children grow up here and they think this is how the world works.

The Open Gate Foundation wants to be a place of peace and tranquility in this multi-colored neighborhood. We want to offer practical and spiritual help in every phase, from baby to adult. We want to help others seize their opportunities, while retaining their own freedom of choice and learning to confront each other on their own responsibility.

We provide homework support to prevent early school leaving, we invest in individuals to give them a future, we build relationships with people in the neighborhood to be a light, we organize events to connect the neighborhood and we do much more to anticipate this dynamic society.
