About De Amsterdamse Plus
De Amsterdamse Plus is een opvangvoorziening in het centrum van Amsterdam voor jongeren tussen de 15 en 25 jaar die om diverse redenen uit het reguliere onderwijs zijn uitgevallen. Het is een regulier MBO college maar door kleinschaligheid en extra aandacht lukt het om jongeren die elders in het onderwijs zijn uitgevallen in veel gevallen toch om een regulier MBO niveau 1 of 2 diploma te laten behalen. De instelling, tot 2009 bekend als de Amsterdamse School, wordt financieel ondersteund door de Gemeente Amsterdam en is onderdeel van de Amarantis Onderwijs Groep.
