About DCI Dutch Certification Institute

In addition to the CE certification of boats performed by proffesional surveyors, DCI also offers several other services. DCI works as a third party to provide inspection services for manufacturing processes. As a third party, DCI also provides inspection services of industry products and processes.

DCI is a notified body (0613) appointed by the Dutch ministry of environment and transport (ILT), DCI is accredited for ISO 17065:2012 by the Dutch board of accreditation (RVA).

DCI works according to the following directives; - Directive 2013/53/EU Recreational Craft and Personal Watercraft - Recreational craft and partly completed recreational craft - Personal watercraft and partly completed watercraft - Components of watercarft, exhaust emissions, noise emissions - Directive 2014/90/EU Marine Equipment - Life-saving appliances MED 1:18, 1:19, 1:20, 1:36 & 1:37. - Directive NEN 1914:2016 - Inland navigation vessels - ship's boats
