Current is an internationally oriented architecture company based in the Netherlands. We believe architecture can make the difference. Influence people and their well being. Make the world look even more beautiful. Therefore, all our customers get the specific attention they fully deserve. In our cross-cutting approach, Current goes to extremes. We are flexible and open-minded. Ambitious with a strong focus on material realization. Experimental combined with a solid sense for feasibility. Rational and sensitive. Knowlegde-based with intuition. Our work covers different scales of design ranging from interiors and private homes to urban design and public space. We operate in a dynamic and diverse environment and stimulate multiple disciplines to take part in our projects. Current architecture+urbanism is headed by its director Stefan Witteman. Stefan gained extensive experience working on a wide range of projects both in the Netherlands and abroad. Current acknowledges the importance of education and is associated with Delft University of Technology and the Academies of Architecture in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
