Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH) is a government-owned limited liability company that owns the International Airport properties and surrounding terrains. Since its inception, the CAH has continuously sought to incorporate strategic development into its agenda in its relentless pursuit to maximize the airport's potential. CAH envision the Curacao International Airport to be a highly efficient airport with high standards for services and facilities, servicing origin and destination traffic, and connecting the continents’ passengers and cargo. The airport will be at the center of a dynamic Airport City with aviation and non-aviation businesses, focusing on green, sustainable, innovative and knowledge-intensive industries, creating a powerful engine for economic development of our island. As owner and landlord of the airport properties and surrounding terrains, Curaçao Airport Holding has various roles: • Airport (Operations Supervision): As a supervisor, CAH’s primary responsibility is to ensure continued operations of the airport and guaranteeing a well-functioning, quality operation, through monitoring of Curacao Airport Partners' (CAP) operations and reporting on CAP's performance. In addition CAH continuously seeks additional possibilities to improve the airport’s functioning. • Traffic (Air Service Development): As a promoter, CAH proactively supports and assists in efforts to increase the volume and quality of air traffic to and from Curaçao. • Area (Airport City Development): As a developer, CAH initiates development of the terrains surrounding the airport for economic activity by third parties.
