CTcue makes Electronic Health Records (EHR) data accessible and useful. Electronic Health Records are a one-way street – clinicians enter data, but they cannot retrieve any information from these records. CTcue instantly finds eligible patients for studies or quality indicators. Searching in electronic health records remains a major hurdle. Since most valuable patient information is archived as text (clinical notes, transfer notes, multidisciplinary meeting notes, discharge letters, etc.) into the Electronic Health Records (EHR), it is not possible to automatically search these criteria. Manual search through unstructured patient records is very time consuming. Based on the latest innovations in information retrieval, natural language processing and machine learning, CTcue enables clinicians to use valuable data from their EHR with user-friendly interfaces. Before the data is added to the CTcue search engine, all data are pseudonymized, in compliance with privacy legislation.
