The world and societal views are changing at a rapid pace. This creates tension within companies, especially in the area of human capital. The expectations of employees have changed and topics such as ESG, DE&I and the shortage on the labor market have become an core part of what the board needs to deal with. Some of the associated themes: attracting and especially retaining different types of talent, how to make the most of the unique competencies and characteristics of people, psychological safety, examining the reasons, the effectiveness and sustainability of existing ways of working together and defining shared values ​​and goals. Entering into a conversation about these kinds of questions is the prelude to a strategic cultural change.

In this area there is a lot of attention for targets, communication and training, but shaping a corresponding people strategy and actually effecting change proves difficult. The 'why' is usually clear, but the shoe pinches when it comes to the 'what' and 'how'. That is the focus of CORE People: content, people, the core.
