About Containerplein

Containerplein is a full-service container depot at three strategic locations: Maasvlakte II (Rotterdam), Moerdijk and Antwerp. We support shipping lines, leasing companies, shippers, carriers and traders with the storage and handling of full and empty sea containers — dry, reefer and ADR.

Our depots are located directly alongside the major container terminals. By pre-staging containers at our facility or using interim storage during customs or inspection holds, your planning avoids unnecessary terminal queues. Our in-house terminal tractors handle the final move to the terminal gate.

At Moerdijk, we operate our own terminal with 300 metres of quay with direct access to inland waterway shipping. Our Antwerp location also offers a direct waterway connection. Together, these facilities form a multimodal hub between Rotterdam, Antwerp and the European hinterland.
