About Children Of Kilimanjaro
in 1996 Mdawi Orphans Care was founded by Allen Lekey, inhabitant of Mdawi. From The Netherlands, Mirna Robert-Du Ry van Beest Holle was active in Mdawi Orphans Care by obtaining funds and building the tailoring and carpenter schools. She decided to register the projects in The Netherlands as Children of Kilimanjaro Foundation in 2006.
