About CHE - Community AND Humanitarian Engineering
CHE – Community & Humanitarian Engineering designs and coordinates hands-on training programs in humanitarian and community engineering. The organization engages international students, volunteers, and professionals in real-world infrastructure projects, working in close cooperation with Engineering Without Borders Argentina (ISF-Ar).
CHE’s mission is to humanize engineering by supporting inclusive development and fostering resilient communities. Our programs combine on-site work with educational sessions on professional ethics, human rights, sustainable development, and community participation, ensuring that technical solutions generate a positive social impact.
Through CHE, participants collaborate in projects that embrace diversity and encourage active community engagement, fostering responsibility, ethical decision-making, and social awareness. By aligning our work with the principles of sustainable human development and respect for human rights, we aim to develop engineers and volunteers who understand the societal impact of their actions.
CHE welcomes professionals, students, and organizations to join, collaborate, or follow our initiatives, contributing to a future where engineering serves communities ethically, inclusively, and sustainably.
