About CDr Coaching

CDr Coaching is an independent coaching bureau owned and run by Carmen Rietdijk, offering coaching to PhD candidates. I support PhD candidates who struggle with issues of motivation, emotional well-being, and career development. I coach them through questions like ‘Why am I putting myself through this?’, ‘How can I feel happy and finish my PhD training program?’, and ‘What do I want to do after graduation?’ CDr Coaching coaches PhD candidates to (re)discover their qualities, determine their short and long term goals, and take action to achieve those goals. The aim is always to increase overall well-being, happiness, and self-direction. At the end of the trajectory the PhD candidate will possess a better understanding of their qualities and personal goals, a realistic plan of action to reach those goals, and tools to tackle future challenges.
