Casa Lisa started in 2015 as a catering company at live events. Over the years, Casa Lisa has provided meals behind the scenes at festivals such as Appelsap, Milkshake, Valtifest, Gay Pride, Nue Now, Amsterdam Open Air, Drumcode and Macumba. Casa Lisa is also the permanent caterer of Awakenings in the Gashouder (Amsterdam) and the Klokgebouw (Eindhoven). Over the years, a variety of catering assignments have been completed for companies, schools, universities and various private occasions such as weddings and other festivities.

Because the success of the catering company demanded more work space and the owners also had a desire to serve consumers, Casa Lisa opened the doors of Traiteur Casa Lisa in 2017, which was transformed into a restaurant in May 2019 after a brief renovation. The restaurants seats 30 people inside and has a 80m2 terrace on the main square in Amsterdam-Duivendrecht.
