About Career Services University of Groningen

Career Services supports and facilitates students of the University of Groningen with the preparation for their future careers by offering services such as workshops and consultations. Career Services also connects to networks in the regional, national, and international labour markets and supports faculties and study associations in their efforts. As such, Career Services is part of the employability strategy of the UG.

We base our work on four key goals: 1. We support, facilitate, and enhance the visibility of UG students' employability profile for both students and future employers. We aim for students to better recognise and present the transferable skills, knowledge, and competences they have obtained during their studies. 2. Our career support and services are available and relevant to all UG students. 3. Together with partners and other departments, we promote (and organise) cooperation and connection with and between faculties, (PhD) students, alumni, other knowledge institutions, and labour market networks. 4. The labour market and world around us is always changing. Career Services stays connected with these changes and adapts its services accordingly.
