About CareConnect

CareConnect is a mission-driven startup based in the Netherlands, building an intelligent platform that enables trusted, efficient collaboration across healthcare and education ecosystems in Europe and low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). We help NGOs, startups, companies, experts, and public actors find the right partners faster, reducing friction in discovery, due diligence, and coordination.

The idea behind CareConnect emerged from a simple but persistent observation: while many organizations in LMICs have strong local expertise and significant impact potential, they often lack access to global networks, funders, resources, and decision-makers, not due to a lack of capacity, but a lack of access and trust-based connection.

Founded by Sarah Sarnami and shaped through extensive engagement with NGOs, startups, and institutional actors across regions, CareConnect was developed through research, interviews, and feasibility studies conducted between 2022 and 2024. These conversations consistently pointed to the same need: collaboration tools that go beyond directories and introductions, and instead strengthen trust, visibility, and coordination.

Today, CareConnect is building an intelligent infrastructure for cross-border collaboration, supporting responsible partnerships, better alignment, and sustainable impact aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
