About BusinessMinds BV

BusinessMinds is an organisation that aims to bring sustainable development into the mainstream of commercial, not-for-profit and government policy and practice – to make the principles of sustainable development “business as usual” for all. We work directly and practically to promote the delivery of genuinely sustainable development i.e. development that provides economic progress, generates social benefits for communities and protects the environment.

Our main focus is on identifying, maturing and developing opportunities, projects and new businesses that are at the leading edge of sustainable development practice. Apart from the value of these projects in their own right, we aim to create models for how genuine sustainable development can be delivered, often in some of the least developed countries in the world.

BusinessMinds works in many sectors including energy, agriculture, transport and social development. We also work with the commercial sector, governments and non-government organisations to ensure that they are more sustainable in the way that they operate. Our key areas of expertise are strategy development, organisational change management, commercial structuring and business development. We also have significant experience in improving the sustainability of commercial and non-commercial projects in developing countries. We have turned around failing projects when brought in at the later stages, and delivered quality high-value projects, on time and within budget, when involved up-front.

Our work has taken us to many parts of the globe, and we have particularly strong experience in Africa and Latin America.
